​​​Fresno Adventist Academy is pleased to offer a variety of scholarship opportunities for the 2026-2027 school year to help make Adventist education more accessible to families.

Central California Conference (CCC) Scholarships
Note: Students who are children of salaried CCC employees receiving tuition subsidies are not eligible.

CCC Endowment Fund (Elementary & Secondary Students)

Eligibility: CCC church members, demonstrate financial need, maintain academic standards, no denominational employee tuition assistance.

Application: Online through FACTS with tax forms and supporting documents.

Deadline: April 30, 2026

New students enrolling after April 30 may apply July 16 – September 16, 2026

Multi-student Family Scholarship. As part of the Endowment Scholarship for 24-25, we
received funding through the Tonge Foundation to provide additional scholarship amounts to
families with multiple students attending Adventist K-12 Central California Conference schools.

New Member Evangelism Fund (K–12)

Eligibility: First-time or recently enrolled students; baptized or parent baptized/joined Adventist church in last 5 years..

Award: 20% of tuition, renewable for a second year.

Deadline—Open Enrollment based on the availability of funds for the first year.

Second Year Renewal Deadline is June 30 of the current school year.

Three-Way Matching Fund (K–12 & Colleges)

Eligibility: Full-time CCC Adventist students; church membership required

Award: Up to $300 from each entity (local church, school, and Conference), $900 total

Restrictions—Each school/church has a limited number of applications that may be submitted.

Minority Fund
-
Eligibility: Students from Hispanic, Asian, or African American CCC churches
-
Process–The CCC Treasury Department will notify the church by letter of the amount available
for them to use in awarding assistance. -
Applications—Contact your church pastor or treasurer for further information on the
availability of these funds. The church board must approve awards. To distribute the
Minority Funds, the church must email a letter to the Conference Treasurer with the names,
student ID numbers, and amounts of those who receive funding. The check will be issued to the
school(s) indicated in the letter. -
Maximum Award: $1,000 per student

Conference Faith Advance​
-
Requests for assistance from the Conference Faith Advance must be processed through the
school's principal or financial office. The local school board is responsible for determining
eligibility and the process for obtaining help from this fund. The school submits the names of
students they deem eligible for assistance to the Education Department, and the Conference
issues a check to the school for the total amount requested for students to be applied to their
accounts. The amount per school is determined by a formula involving the church membership
and Conference Faith Advance offering received by the Conference. The school determines the
amount per student. -
Application: There is no application. Automatically processed by the school.

Pacific Union Scholarships​
​​
Pacific Union Conference Education Scholarships (K-16). Includes Baybarz Trust Fund, Education Endowment, Union Elementary, and Hochhalter. Union Scholarship Application Directions.

Eligibility—full-time students enrolled in a Central California Conference Adventist school in grades K-12 or at La Sierra University, Loma Linda University, Montemorelos University, Oakwood College, and Pacific Union College. (The student must not receive tuition assistance as the child of a denominational employee.)

Applications: K-12 applicants must work with their school principal or business manager before applying. The school will select applicants based on financial need, which the CCC Education Department will verify. College applicants should contact the CCC Education Department or the college/university first.

Next Step Scholarship (Kindergarten & 9th Grade Students)

Open to all students enrolled in Kindergarten or 9th Grade

For full-time enrolled Kindergarten or ninth-grade students.

Nominated by the local conference education department.

Regardless of other scholarship funds or tuition assistance.

Based on the submission of an online essay-based application.

Amount—Kindergarten, between $250 and $750; Ninth Grade, between $1000 and $2500.

Future College Students

Pacific Union Conference Entering Freshman Scholarship (Entering Freshman to La Sierra
University and Pacific Union College)

Eligibility— This one-time scholarship is available to all new, incoming full-time SDA first-year students attending either Pacific Union College or La Sierra University as undergraduates. Students must be accepted, enrolled, and attend class at PUC of LSU beyond the drop date for the term, as well as meet one of the following qualification criteria:

A baptized member of a Seventh-day Adventist church in the Pacific Union Conference

An unbaptized member of an SDA church with a parent/guardian who is a baptized member of an SDA church within the Pacific Union Conference
-
A non-SDA student who has attended a secondary school in the Pacific Union Conference for a minimum of one semester and can provide a transcript

Pacific Union Conference: Growing Young Leaders (Scholarships for Future Pastors and Teachers)

Purpose: To assist students graduating from 12th grade in preparing for ministry as pastors and educators in the Seventh-day Adventist system. This scholarship-to-employment program will help reduce the cost of education and provide a pathway to employment with mentorship, training, and job placement opportunities within the Pacific Union Conference.

Qualifications:
-
The student is a baptized member of the Seventh-day Adventist church.
-
Completed application form with required attachments.
-
Recommended by the local conference.
-
Full-time enrollment at a Seventh-day Adventist institution of higher education.
-
Declare a major to become a pastor or teacher.
-
Employment within the Pacific Union Conference for at least 3-5 years post-graduation.
-
Scholarship Information: Four-Year Scholarship: $20,000/Year [If Attending LSU or PUC]. This $20,000 scholarship consists of $5,000 from the local conference, $5,000 from the Pacific Union Conference, and up to $10,000 from La Sierra University or Pacific Union College.

Students attending LSU or PUC:
--The first $10,000 is not restricted by receipt of any other internal or external scholarships, awards, tuition assistance, or discounts.
--The second $10,000 provided by La Sierra University or Pacific Union College is limited to 100% of tuition, required fees, and room and meal plans not covered by other scholarships.
--The total over four years may be up to $80,000 if attending LSU or PUC.

Students attending SDA Higher Ed Institutions outside the Pacific Union:
--Receive a maximum of $5,000 per year for four years—the total over four years is $20,000.
--After graduation, if the student is employed in the Pacific Union Conference, they may request
partial loan payment assistance, limited to $200 per month for two years, paid by the Pacific
Union Conference.

Changes in major, full-time enrollment, withdrawing, or not meeting qualifications and renewal criteria will forfeit future scholarship funds and may require the return of prior funds.

Renewal Criteria: Automatic yearly renewal if the student meets the following criteria

Minimum 3.0 GPA from an institution of higher education.
-
Verified acceptable progress toward the completion of preparation for a career in SDA pastoral or teaching ministry. This includes acceptance into the teacher education program after the sophomore year and satisfactory progress toward completing an SDA teaching certificate.

Participation in Growing Young Leaders mentorship and leadership events.

Submit the completed Growing Young Leaders application form with attachments to your school by April 1.

The school will submit the completed Growing Young Leaders application form with attachments (Student Essay, Reference Letter from a teacher or principal, Reference Letter from a Church Pastor, and Head/Shoulder portrait) to the local conference by April 15.

The Conference will submit the completed application and documents to the Union by April 30.

Partnering for Eternity (PFE) Scholarship Program

Eligibility: Up to 20% of students enrolled at FAA can participate in PFE K-8

Student and mentor spend 1 hour together each week

Parent/guardian must attend 100% of every visit

Amount: SFFC Foundation gives $21 and family/school locally fundraises $9 = $30 for every week of visiting/student (up to $120/month)
