We are a K-12 day campus and on track to becoming the Number One Premier Private School in the Fresno, California area.

Mission Statement

The Fresno Adventist Academy family exists to show children Jesus, nurture their love for Him and others, teach them to think, and empower them to serve.

We should seek to graduate young men and women who are prepared to be successful lifetime learners and productive citizens with deep religious convictions.

Our Philosophy

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

We are all created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27).  For this reason, the primary purpose of Fresno Adventist Academy is to develop Creator-like powers in our students that are God-given to all humans: creativity, individuality, and the power to think, to choose, and to do.  We exist to provide a quality education in an environment where students and staff are in the process of continuously improving their love, trust, and relationship with Jesus Christ.  The object of education at Fresno Adventist Academy is to develop students that will think and act as individuals, not mere reflectors of someone else's thoughts and actions.

A belief in the existence of the Creator God is fundamental in the philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist schools. We respect His divine authority and recognize His intervention in human affairs. We believe that true education develops the spiritual, mental, and physical powers of each student; preparing them for the joy of service in this life and for the higher joy of service in the life to come. To achieve this goal, we commit to the
develop a personal relationship with God and his fellow men as stated in Matthew 2:37-39 through:
  • Spirituality: FAA students will develop a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Relationships: FAA students will develop strong Christian relationships that will guide their behavior.
  • Academics: FAA students will be recognized for academic achievements.
  • Work Ethics: FAA students will learn the value and rewards of hard work.
  • Character Development: FAA students will progress in developing their Christian character
  • Physical Fitness: Every student at FAA will be given an annual fitness assessment to measure progress.
  • Fun: FAA students will have fun and be noticeable happy.

Our Adventist educational system should be measured by our increased count of productive Christian leaders entering into society with a desire for evangelistic mission.

The Fresno Adventist Academy is operated in harmony with the guidance and direction of the Office of Education, North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
