The elementary years are important in the development of the spiritual, mental, social, physical, and emotional aspects of children. Education takes place not only at school but also in the home and at church. Our teachers are carefully selected to provide our students with a safe and nurturing environment where they can learn, explore, and serve together.
All of our elementary students are involved in monthly Mission Outreach opportunities in the Fresno community. Each elementary class has a classroom chaplain that visits regularly. Our students attend music classes and perform at area churches throughout the school year including first through third grade choir, fourth grade recorders, and fifth grade band.
Hands-on learning takes place on our campus where our students can learn about agriculture from our resident farmers at Harvest Fields Organic Farm. Fourth and fifth graders have weekly gardening classes.
Fresno Adventist Academy is actively involved with other Central California Conference schools’ interscholastic sports program. Students in grades five through eight can participate in the elementary sports teams which play flag football, basketball, and soccer against various Seventh-day Adventist schools around the conference.
